Karla's Birdsong Tagbook Swap

The tag on the left is the tag my Mama, Ruth Flowers created. I made the one on the right. I decoupaged two different napkins onto the tag, inked the edges and added some letters.

Mama decorated both sides of her tag.

This is the "Cover" tag made by Karla. She had over 125 participants. And she made each persona cover tag. Wow, that is a big swap.

This is the tag book I received. I will add my tag and Mama's tag to this. Thank you , Karla.

  1. You and your mom did an excellent job on your tags. I find so many bloggers are involved in this. Do you attach to gifts or some other use?

  2. How fun! I saw the swap and thought it sounded like it would be a good one. I'm glad you both participated. Can't wait to see them up close and personal.

  3. Hi Debra
Thank you for your kind words about the tag I created for Karla's swap. It was my first time making tags and I can see from others that have been pictured on numerous blogs that I could have been much more creative. I have not received my Tag Book yet but I would be delighted if it were to include one of yours or your Moms, I love them both.

  4. Dear Debra

Gorgeous tag you made - I hope I get one of yours in my book (yet to artrive)!
I used part of a paper napkin on my tags too - I'm a "paper napkin-a-holic"!!!
I really enjoyed making these for Karla's swap.
    Take care
    hugs
