 It's reversible. Okay , okay maybe just MY number.

 I choose a green and white sign because it shows up better on my house. And I love green! These metal signs are excellent quality. Very heavy and well made. They include hardware to hang your sign.

 My family and I went to a lovely wedding this past weekend. Our friends, Jeff and Bert's Son, Max got married to his sweetheart, Joy. This is the prettiest wedding I have ever been to. Every detail was perfect.

No, not part of the wedding put the same weekend, my nephew and his girlfriend Taylor went to her prom. What a handsome couple.

Happy Birthday Bossy Flossie!

My daughter Heather had her 20Th Birthday yesterday. My how time flies. Her nick name was "Bossy Flossie" because she loved to boss her brothers around. Hasn't changed much.

Peaches to the Beaches 2012

Peaches to the Beaches has been an on going tradition for my friend, Bert, my Mama and myself for several years now. This year, my daughter Heather was our chauffeur.

This was the first stop. The first stop of many. We were all aching after getting in and out of the car so many times. But it was all worth it.

The town of Perry, Georgia is a lovely town. Lots of flowers. If you are ever in Georgia the beginning of October, Do not miss the Georgia National Fair. It is located in Perry.

Peaches to the Beaches is Georgia's Answer to the "World's longest yard sale". It runs from Culloden, Georgia to St. Mary's, Georgia on Highway 471.

We always say we are going to start in St. Mary's the next year but we never do. This year we traveled the shortest distance ever. Our trunk was full and it is hard to see around the lamp shades on my lap. It always rains. But that never dampens our bargain hunting spirits. This year we managed to miss many showers.

Another Peaches to the Beaches is over, but I know we will all make plans to do it again next year.

The Month for Love

My husband and I celebrated our 22nd Anniversary with a nice dinner out.

Peace and joy were a little hard to get this Christmas. It was a very trying year for our family. My Daddy passed in July . My sweet husband had a job change along with other family issues. But we made the best of things and had a very nice Christmas.

My Christmas lights fizzled about a week after I put the tree up. I was going to leave it but decided the put more on top of the decorations.

We kept the family portrait session brief but managed to come up with a couple of decent shots. Joe, Debra, Heather , Daniel and Jordan.

I hope 2012 is a better year for our family and for many others that had a tough 2011.

I have a lot to be thankful for.
